A Little About Me
“Wow! Jamar can we do this wedding again next weekend. This was a blast!” These are the comments I strive for and have experienced while providing my services as an Emcee (MC) for weddings.
Welcome and thank you for visiting my site. My name is Jamar Hicks and I am born and raised in Richmond, Va. and a graduate of Liberty University (Broadcast Journalism).
I have been in the wedding industry as an Emcee (MC), day of planning and organizer for over 10 years. With my undergrad degree in Television Broadcasting, communicating in front of the masses comes natural to me and bringing smiles and joy to peoples faces is what I take satisfaction in.
It all began when a friend heard my voice over the microphone as a public address announcer at a sporting event. I was then approached to play music at his wedding and run all the formalities over the microphone. From then it became a journey that has been fulfilling and impactful to my life and others. You only get once chance to make this day right so with my experience, knowledge and detail, I am able to provide you services that will make your special day a memorable one.
A bit about me, I have traveled to all the states except 4 and I hope to visit them soon. My background in public speaking, public address announcer, wedding dj/emcee, sporting event host etc…has contributed to the success I have had so far. Very thankful for the gifts and the opportunities the Lord has blessed me with. While conducting over 100+ weddings, I want this day to be as stress free as possible for you that’s why I leave no stone uncovered. Lets create these moments you always dreamed of.
